I think the trick is settting frame cap in the nvidia control panel for dishonored2.exe. I set mine to 90. Its not butter 144hz but its also not crappy 60. I also play on medium gfx quality. I also think having all the HUD markers on hurts perf its more immersive without them anyway. Dont use adaptive resolution or vsync. I'm trying to play Dishonored 2 on PS4 and I absolutely HATE the nonsense look smoothing/acceleration or whatever you want to call it.
