I switched from native 4k to 75% renderscale with TAA on, that gave an incredible performance boost. (i don't even bother with the nvidia gameworks stuff) The renderscale affects all post processing effects and will speed up performance. Vsync doesn't affect performance that much but you should only use it if you are steady above 30 or 60 fps.
